Click >here for the latest school API scores now available from the State for Silicon Valley.

Saratoga elementary schools all ranked very high: Argonaut (969), Foothill (945) and Saratoga (952); Redwood middle school is also high (951).

Los Gatos elementary schools were not far behind with Blossom Hill (918), Daves (879), Louise Van Meter (879); and Fisher Middle (879).

All but two of the twenty elementary schools in the Cupertino Union District have API scores 900+ as do Kennedy, Lawson and Miller middle schools!!  Blue Hills elementary (in Saratoga area 17) has a very strong 964 score.

Lynbrook High has the higest high school score in the County.  Here’s the ranking list of the top high schools in Santa Clara County (numbers in parenthesis are MLS market areas):

Lynbrook (Cupertino 18) – 911

Saratoga (Saratoga 17) – 903

Monta Vista (Cupertino 18) – 900

Gunn (Palo Alto 230, 231, 232, 235, 243) – 899

Palo Alto (Palo Alto) – 883

Leland (San Jose 13) – 856

Los Gatos (Los Gatos 16) – 850

Homestead (Cupertino 18) – 838

Mountain View (Mountain View 208) – 833

Evergreen Valley (San Jose 3) – 827

Cupertino (Cupertino 18) - 817

Leigh (San Jose 14) – 803

Los Altos (Los Altos 211, 214, 209) – 802

Within the Campbell Union District Leigh High (803) is the the highest, but Westmont High moved up this past year from 738 to 754 and Prospect High moved also up from 733 to 741.

With such stellar school scores, there is little wonder why real estate in these Silicon Valley market areas outperforms the rest of the County.  Leland High is also causing homebuyers from Cupertino to look southward to Almaden where home values are attractive as well.
