The 52nd. Annual Saratoga Rotary Art Show will be held this coming Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 9AM to 5PM at West Valley College on Fruitvale Ave. at Allendale in Saratoga.
It will feature 200 artists, food, entertainment and wine tasting from fine local wineries. Entertainment includes the third annual Saratoga Idol finals, with a cash prize of $1000 awarded to the winner.
There will also be a raffle for a 2009 Mercedes Benz C300 (2 year prepaid lease) or $10,000. The cost is $25 each or $100 for 5 tickets and there will only be 2500 tickets sold. The drawing will be held at 3PM on Sunday and you do not need to be present to win.
Bring the entire family. Admission is free and there is ample free parking.
Best of all, you will be contributing to worthy causes. All net proceeds from the Show go to the Saratoga Rotary Charitable Foundation, which has returned over $2 million to local non-profits through its grant program. You might call this the “Art Show with a heart.”
