Saratoga High School, at the corner of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd. and Herriman Ave. is home to the 569-seat McAfee Performing Arts and Lecture Center. This prominent contemporary structure is partly hidden from the street by towering redwood trees at its back and side.
John Nakamatsu, one of my favorite classical pianists, is performing there this Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 7:30 PM, as part of the Steinway Society of the Bay Area that my friend Dave Dumont started in 1994.
Click>here for a link to Artsopolis – a great resource for performance art in Silicon Valley and more information about what is happening at McAfee. Sign up to receive their email notification of discount tickets. I also love Princess’ pick blog.
