2009 Los Gatos & Monte Sereno Community Garage Sale

 

October 3, 2009 - Residents of the Town of Los Gatos and City of Monte Sereno are invited to hold garage sales at their homes.  The Community Garage Sale is a partnership between the Town of Los Gatos and City of Monte Sereno. 

This event emphasizes recycling, reuse and giving while fostering a strong sense of community spirit in Los Gatos.  It provides the opportunity to get acquainted with neighbors and promote responsible and sustainable practices for our environment. 

October 10, 2009 – The Saturday following the Community Garage Sale, the Town will hold its annual Second Chance Day Donation Drive.  From 9:00am-3:00pm, the Los Gatos Neighborhood Center will accept specific items for local shelters and non-profits.  For more information on Second Chance Day including a list of items being accepted, please visit www.losgatosca.gov/secondchance or contact the Community Services Department.

Selling participants in the 2009 Community Garage Sale must have registered by September 17, 2009 to be listed in the 2009 Shopper’s Guide.  The Shopper’s Guide will be available online and at various Los Gatos retailers the week of the sale.
