YelpReal estate has always been about location, but now technology is enhancing the search – where to find the best in Saratoga, CA?

Last Thursday evening I was talking with Vice Mayor Jill Hunter about the Saratoga Village Development Council.  Jill noted that there are now 26 restaurants in Saratoga village and how Yelp and other technology is being used locally.

Alain Pinel Realtors has a great map based home for sale search application.  I previously wrote about searching homes for sale in Saratoga through GoogleMaps.  Google Latitude is a mobile phone feature that lets you see your friends locations and share yours with your friends.  ActiveRain has localism.

Now, the latest buzz is about ForeSquare and GoWalla.  Twitter and Facebook are going local soon.
