Saratoga Village Development Council Promotes Village
According to Jill Hunter, Vice Mayor of Saratoga, CA, five years ago the Saratoga Village Development Council was initiated as a networking group for merchants and anyone else interested in Saratoga Village. Brian Berg set up an email system and SVDC now has over 360 registrants on the system.
The SVDC now will have meetings on each second Tuesday in the morning and the last Tuesday of the month at 6pm at Hong’s ( Chinese restaurant in the Village). If people would like to eat dinner they can order it at the counter; each person will pay for their own; all are invited.
At the upcoming dinner meeting next week the group will be discussing the 9 events SVDC holds in the Village each year.
The Saratoga-Live website has a list of restaurants, shopping, local attractions, videos and information about upcoming events in Saratoga Village.
