Savor Saratoga – Wine & Wisteria
On Sunday, April 11, 2010 the Saratoga Village Development Council (SVDC) will host a fundraiser dinner: “Savor Saratoga: Wine & Wisteria” at Hakone, the National Trust historic Japanese Garden just up Big Basin Way from the Village. The time is from 5 to 7:30 PM and only 150 tickets will be sold at $35 each ($45 the day of the event).
This event will feature a silent auction with items from Saratoga retail establishments, restaurants and services, wine tasting and delicious food from over 26 restaurants in Saratoga Village. Plan to stay in the Village and have dinner after 7:30 PM.
Proceeds from this event will be spent directly on Saratoga Village in the form of events, plaques, signs and banners, etc. to improve matters in the Village. Last year SVDC raised $8,000, part of which is being used for the Village entrance sign (photo above) to be installed mid-March.
