Blood Drive in Saratoga July 18, 2010

Every 3 seconds someone needs blood, but less than 3% of the population in the Bay Area donates blood. YOU can save a life! Each day, Stanford Blood Center needs to collect hundreds of units of blood to supply the hospitals we serve, including Stanford, Lucile Packard Children’s, El Camino, and O’Connor Hospitals.

I hope you will join us by sharing the life and hope that’s in a blood donation.

Thank you for helping to Save a Life.

Why Give Blood?
There is no substitute for blood. It has to come from one person in order to give to another. A critical number of voluntary donations are required every day to meet the need for blood in the areas we serve.. However, we are consistently falling short, and falling short means we may not have enough blood for someone like you.
