Starting Wednesday, July 13, 2011 Saratoga, CA will have a European style, open air Marketplace in Blaney Plaza and behind US Bank, featuring:

  • Succulent seasonal fruit and produce
  • Fresh local meats, poultry and seafood
  • Artisan cheeses and breads
  • Prepared ethnic cuisine
  • Flowers, art and live music
  • Gourmet condiments and jams
  • Unique hand-crafted accessories

According to Councilperson Jill Hunter, “there will be 7 ( approx) sellers of crafts in Blaney Plaza ( where the Arch is ) with the possible closing of the spur street running next to Starbucks and Planet Juice – the street may be closed from 12:30 to 8pm or so on Wednesdays to accommodate the sellers and tents setting up. Traffic will be routed to making the right turn to Los Gatos at the traffic light.”

Additional farmer’s market food items will be sold at 30 possible booths behind US Bank area with a similar schedule.
