Strike up the band and join family and friends to celebrate Independence Day Saratoga style. The event will be held on Thursday, July 4 from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the Kevin Moran Park at 12415 Scully Avenue in Saratoga.

Mayor Jill Hunter will give the opening speech and Councilmembers Chuck Page and Howard Miller will emcee.

A special feature of the free event is the “Voices of Freedom” prepared by Federated Church Bill Allison.

Also included is the color guard; patriotic tunes from the McCartysville Volunteer Band; singing, costumed American historical characters; and the fun concludes with a family parade around the park.

Free US flags and popsicles are given to children.
