Saratoga Voice was started as a community blog in September 2007 by Rick Bonetti, then a Realtor with Alain Pinel in Saratoga, CA. Initial content was focused on real estate, but in 2010 Rick affiliated with APR Referral Network to devote more time to his passion for community and social media.
Saratoga Voice has since been expanded into a new magazine format with more general content, complementing, rather than competing with the excellent reporting of MercuryNews.com’s Saratoga News. It is intended to be YOUR community resource, with citizen-journalist contributions from you, the reader! It is also designed to be more interactive.
Saratoga Voice is intended to give voice to local residents and enhance a sense of community. Citizen journalists are invited to submit articles. Everyone is invited to make comments (respecting the our editorial policy).

Rick Bonetti, primary author of Saratoga Voice, is a Saratoga, California “native” – born and raised here! Rick’s roots are deep as a third generation Santa Clara County resident and second generation real estate agent.

Rick was a Realtor at Alain Pinel in Saratoga, CA for 10 years from 2000 to 2010. He earned a reputation among his peers for skillful negotiations and innovative, creative marketing – the “Art” of real estate. He is known by his clients as personable and caring professional – the “Heart” of real estate. Many friends and past clients still refer Rick to people whom they hear are thinking about buying or selling real estate, because of his experience, local knowledge and contacts. He is now a “trust agent” who now earns a commission by referring clients to the best professional selected to meet their needs.
With more than 40 years experience in the real estate profession, including designing and building custom homes, Rick Bonetti has provided a solid tract record. in 2009 and 2010 Rick was honored to be among Alain Pinel Realtors’ “President’s Round-Table”, the elite group of top Alain Pinel agents.
Prior to his role as a Realtor, Rick served as Marketing Director for several large corporate real estate developers/builders: The Irvine Company, Kapalua Land Company, Newhall Land and Farming Company and MCO Properties. He has overseen management of real estate brokerage and held real estate and general contractor licenses in Arizona.
